Day 1
Arrival Saigon

Meet in Saigon & Board the Ship Meal: L, D Upon your arrival at the airport, our tour guide will pick you up and drive you to the hotel in Saigon. At our pre-designated hotel, you'll have the chance to meet your fellow adventurers and join a walking tour. Explore the city on foot, delving into Saigon’s history and architecture while discovering more about local life. Along the way, indulge in tastings of local specialties such as Vietnamese coffee and chocolate. Following a delightful lunch in a special floral setting, embark on a 2-hour transfer to reach the port at the northeast end of the Mekong Delta. Here, you'll board the charming ship, the Tom Tiou 2, and become acquainted with our delightful crew.
Day 2
Explore the Mekong to Cai Be

Explore the Mekong to Cai Be Riding: 40-65km Meal: B, L, D Today offers a flexible itinerary with the option to choose between a morning ride and an afternoon on the ship, or a morning on the ship followed by an afternoon ride-unless, of course, you're up for both adventures! The morning ride takes us through the vibrant floating villages and bustling river commerce of My Tho, culminating in a delightful traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local home. If you opt for the afternoon ride, our cycling route leads us towards Cai Be, another charming town blending land and water. Prepare for friendly interactions with local children as they commute to school in their distinctive blue and white uniforms. Our ship will anchor near Cai Be, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal in the heart of town.
Day 3
Cruise & Cycle to Cao Lanh

Cruise & Cycle to Cao Lanh Riding: 40-65km Meal: B, L, D Once again, you have the flexibility to decide whether to embark on a morning ride, an afternoon ride, or both. In the morning, our cycling route follows the scenic riverbanks from Cai Be to the charming colonial town of Sa Dec, where a delicious lunch awaits before we reboard the ship. For those opting for the afternoon ride, you'll hop on your bike and traverse narrow, shaded paths, observing locals diligently tending to the cultivation of flowers, clay bricks, and the transport of an array of vibrant fruits and vegetables to the market. Our cycling adventure concludes near the bustling city of Cao Lanh, and we rejoin the boat, making a stop near the Chau Doc canal for the night.
Day 4
Bike & Boat into Cambodia

Bike & Boat into Cambodia Riding: 25km Meal: B,L,D One might argue that we've saved the best for last—our final day in Vietnam. We disembark on a small island just below the border, dedicating the morning to cycling through its quaint communities and farmlands. This island has a distinctive feel compared to other parts of the Delta; there are minimal cars, and the houses boast a more traditional appearance, constructed from wood and raised on low stilts to withstand occasional flooding. After bidding farewell to most of the Vietnam support team, we set sail for the border. Following brief formalities, we continue our cruise into Cambodia, dropping anchor with the mesmerizing lights of Phnom Penh in view.
Day 5
Silk Island Ride

Silk Island Ride Riding: 20-40km Meal: B, L, D Koh Dac, also known as Silk Island, is a charming small island near Phnom Penh, renowned for its silk weaving. Local women skillfully engage in this traditional craft under their raised houses, and as we cycle around this land, we'll have the opportunity to learn about the intricate process of silk production. Afterward, we'll return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll dock, allowing you to leisurely explore the riverside area of the city on foot. As the sun sets, we'll push out into the river once more for our final night aboard.
Day 6
Phnom Penh Exploration

Phnom Penh Exploration Meal: B, L, D As the sun ascends to its place in the sky, our ship will dock in Phnom Penh. The capital of Cambodia is a fascinating locale. Initially little more than a cluster of shacks along the river during the French colonial era, it was rapidly organized with a grid-style layout and adorned with elegant colonial buildings, including the recently restored Central Market. Evacuated forcefully when it fell to the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s, the city experienced a period of decay that persisted through the early stages of repopulation. In the late nineties and early 2000s, as the country began to recover, the city possessed a shattered charm, with many buildings still vacant and infrastructure in need of repair. After breakfast, we'll check out of the ship and embark on a dynamic exploration of the city through a multi-modal tour, followed by lunch in the city. The day concludes with a journey to the airport for our flight to Siem Reap.
Day 7
Angkor Sunrise Experience

Angkor Sunrise Experience Riding: 25km Meal: B, L, D Be prepared for an early start as we begin our day before the sun graces the sky and the first roosters announce the morning. We'll transfer to the captivating Angkor National Park, where all tour participants will gather in front of the towering main temple. If weather permits, we might witness a breathtaking display of colors as the sun rises behind the temple's spires. Once the sun is up and the tourist crowds have thinned, our in-depth exploration of the Angkor complex begins. Breakfast will be savored in the serene surroundings of these ancient temples. Embark on a journey through the mysteries of the jungle as we cycle along narrow tracks and hidden dirt paths, visiting iconic temples such as Bayon or Ta Prohm, along with some lesser-known ancient structures. Non-riders will have the opportunity to explore the temples by tuk-tuk. Lunch will be enjoyed by the Sra Srang Reservoir surrounding the Angkor Wat temple before we return to the hotel. The afternoon offers free time for personal exploration in town or relaxation at the accommodation. After an early dinner, we'll attend an captivating show by Phare Circus, an acrobatic troupe composed of talented Khmer individuals who have undergone professional arts training at an NGO-run center.
Day 8
Tour Concludes

Tour Concludes Our tour in Siem Reap concludes this morning with a series of final activities designed to immerse you fully in Cambodian culture. We'll commence with a visit to the Angkor National Museum, a dedicated institution preserving ancient Angkorian architecture and artifacts. Following that, we'll explore the APOPO NGO, utilizing rats for landmine detection. The morning will culminate with a visit to Footprint cafe, known for serving some of the best coffee in town.
