Kampot owns charming natural sceneries, embracing by the elongated Elephant Mountains and sleepy Tuk Chhou River. Travelling in Kampot, you will find spectacular Elephant Mountains going with you all along the way. Located in the Elephant Mountains Range, Bokor Hill is the most famous attractions due to its great view and mysterious side stories. From the top of Bokor Hill you can enjoy great view to the immense azure sea of Gulf of Thailand. Interestingly, Bokor Hill Station is a mysterious ghost town at which nine hundreds lives were lost in nine months during the construction of resort there in 1921 without any clear and convincing explanation. Nowadays, there still remains abandoned scary and mysterious resort which will surely fascinate tourists’ curiosity. Besides, there are a little summer palace of King Sihanouk, Black Palace and a casino with unique architectural style on Bokor Hill.

Coming to Kampot, tourists will relax in peaceful atmosphere of calm rivers and sleepy villages. Enjoy romantic scenery of sunrise or sunset on the river; exploring green orchards of durians, melons and mangoes; or observing farmers fishing will give you relaxing time to feel a slower rhythm of lives.
