Fansipan Mountain trek in Vietnam
Begin your adventure in Hanoi, Vietnam’s lively capital, where a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and a traditional water-puppet performance set the stage for what’s to come. After boarding an overnight train to Lào Cai, you’ll ascend into the Hoàng Liên Range and arrive in Sapa, home to vibrant H’mông and Đào hill-tribe villages. Over the next three days, trek past cascading rice terraces, camp beneath starlit skies, and conquer the 3,143 m summit of Fansipan-“the Roof of Indochina.” Along the way, immerse yourself in minority cultures, soak in mist-clad valley views, and challenge yourself on this off-the-beaten-path mountain expedition.
