This evening, your English-speaking guide, Duncan Flett, will lead you on a tour of the Geisha neighborhood. Duncan has made his home and career as a freelance translator in Kyoto for over a decade.

Since 2005, Duncan and his wife Izumi have been working with Audley Travel as tour guides, showing foreigners around Kyoto's Gion district and other areas to educate them about Japan's traditional culture and the enigmatic world of Geisha.

Duncan and Izumi are the perfect guides across Kyoto since they are partly Japanese but have spent most of their lives outside Japan, in England and Spain, respectively.
