The trip across the Truong Son mountain range's forested foothills will begin with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, at around 8 a.m. There will be numerous brief stops along the journey to learn about the area's history and to give you the chance to take pictures of this stunning landscape. After that, you'll have lunch at the home of a local woodcarver who has turned his house into a mini-museum showcasing several of his works.
You'll eat lunch, then head on to town. After arriving in Bho Hoong Village, you'll take some time to relax in your bungalow before exploring the village and the surrounding jungle. Learn about the history and culture of the Co-Tu people through your guide's firsthand accounts of living in the area.
You will enjoy a traditional dance and music performance in the evening by locals of all ages who want to uphold tradition. Afterward, dinner will be served in the main Guol house, where village meetings take place. You'll head back to your bungalow as the sun sets and the village falls silent.
