Day 1
Ha Giang - Ban An village (115KM)

Start your day with an early breakfast in the restaurant area.
Your guides will introduce themselves and provide essential information regarding safety, cultural etiquette, the tour itinerary, and what to bring. Waiver forms will be distributed to all guests for signing before departure.
Once everyone is packed and ready, those riding bikes will be acquainted with their motorcycles and given instructions on their safe operation. Competency tests will be conducted to ensure your capability for the trip's duration.
Our first destination is the charming spring-fed village of Du Gia. We'll take the newly opened road, constructed to serve the hydro dams along the Lo River. The scenery will continually leave you in awe.
Traveling on roads with minimal tourist traffic, we'll make frequent stops for local interactions, photo opportunities, and visits to local markets (subject to the day's schedule). Lunch will be served at a small family-run restaurant in Du Gia village.
At the end of the day, we'll reach the quiet and picturesque Ban An village, home to the Tay ethnic tribe. Upon arrival, you can unpack, relax with a cold beer, and explore the village or take a refreshing dip in the natural spring located nearby.
Accommodation and amenities in Ban An are very basic, providing you with a genuine insight into the daily life of these hill tribes.
Dinner will be prepared over an open fire and shared with the local family at the homestay.

Day 2
Ban An - Ma Pi Leng canyon - Lung Cu (100km)

Begin your day with an early breakfast, setting the stage for a day filled with adventure.
Embark on a quick river adventure by bamboo raft to explore the cave system that provides water to the surrounding areas. This offers an excellent opportunity for a refreshing morning swim.
By mid-morning, you'll return to the road and continue your journey through breathtaking landscapes, accompanied by numerous photo opportunities. This region is renowned for its terraced rice paddies and is inhabited by the Nung and Red Dao ethnic groups.
Enjoy a delicious local spread for lunch upon reaching the town of Meo Vac.
After lunch, you'll continue north to a section of the Ha Giang Loop that has gained significant recognition – the Ma Pi Leng Pass. While it may attract tourists, its reputation is well-deserved. This pass is South East Asia's deepest gorge, providing surreal scenery and a perfect spot for a coffee break on the cliffside.
Onward to Vietnam's northernmost frontier and the border region with China, you'll pass through areas with rocky outcrops that scientists have identified as evidence of tectonic plate shifts. Fossils dating back to the Jurassic era have been discovered in this area.
Your night will be spent in a homestay, supporting a LoLo Hill tribe family in the township of Lung Cu. You'll enjoy another local culinary experience at the homestay.

Day 3
Lung Cu - Ha Giang (140KM)

Return to Ha Giang - From Lung Cu to Ha Giang (140KM)

Afterward, begin your journey back toward Ha Giang city.
Heading southwest, you'll follow the border area, with a stop to explore the ancient King's palace, now open to the public. This is a fascinating historical site.
For lunch, you'll visit the township of Yen Minh and dine at one of the oldest continuously operating restaurants in all of Ha Giang. Expect a great culinary experience.
Your route will take you through several more breathtaking mountain passes as you make your way back to Ha Giang, passing villages where the hillsides are covered in hemp crops.
Your evening will be spent with the Red Dao tribe, known for their traditional medicine. Here, you can take the opportunity for an herbal bath and a relaxing massage before hitting the road again the next day.

An amazing trip out together by Stephen at My Way Travel! This was our second trip ( went to Vietnam and Cambodia 2019). Stephen is great to work with- very flexible and listens to what we wanted to do. This trip was originally scheduled for April 2020. A honest company that asked if I wanted my deposit back and I said no - that I would use it in a future trip! How many companies around the world did this???? We had great guides In Bangkok and Chiang Rai and Chiang Rai. Fon was full of energy and fun in Bangkok. Ann was one of the best guides I have ever had- she took us to a couple of places not noted on the tour. We went for a hike at a waterfall and visited the cave where the Thai boys were rescued in the cave. Both Ann and Fon gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants. I would absolutely recommend Stephen and My Way Travel! We plan to use him again in planning Bali!

Our group of 26 people traveled to Japan & Thailand with My Way Travel, and had an incredible time. This was our third trip with My Way Travel and the trip was planned perfectly with every detail accounted for. Our tour guides were exceptional in every way. They exuded a warmth and friendliness that immediately put us at ease, making our trip more enjoyable. Not only were they amiable, but they also had extensive knowledge about the places we visited. We would highly recommend My Way Travel to anyone planning a trip to Asia.

We have just returned from a 16 Day/15 Night trip to southeast Asia including stops in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand planned by Stephen at My Way Travel. We reached out to My Way Travel with quite a tall order asking them to arrange a trip for us that included visiting 9 cities in 15 nights! From the first point of contact, our experience with My Way Travel was absolutely fantastic. Stephen was very attentive and let us customize our tour however we pleased. All of the hotels he booked for us were incredible and the tour guides and drivers made us feel like family. It was very easy to keep in touch with Stephen throughout our trip via Whatsapp. The only thing we really needed during our trip was to add baggage for one of our flights and he was able to take care of it the day before we arrived at the airport. All the drivers/guides showed up on time and made transferring from airport to hotel to tour to wherever extremely easy. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone that plans on traveling to Asia.
